Chris is a highly experienced plasterer based in Gildersome, Leeds, who specialises in internal plastering, external renders and damp proofing. Chris had initially approached me to take over the running of his existing website and email service, but after the initial consultation we found that his previous developer had retained the rights to the website design which changed the angle we had to take on this project.
Chris opted to have his website rebuilt from scratch and linked up to his social media accounts with the aim of displaying his handy work to potential clients. To do this the site boasts a number of galleries that allow users to zoom in using a light-box feature, as well as a number of pages containing vital information about his products and services. The website was launched in October 2015.
After catching up with Chris over a coffee in 2016 he asked me to create a unique but simple logo to signify his company’s commitment to tackling environmental concerns. The logo ties in his trade with the traditional “three arrows” design commonly seen in environmentally friendly logos and the logo now takes pride of place on his website.
